I promise - it is not all “Gloom and Doom” and spring sees signs of new life in our economy starting to show. In March this year we saw nationwide house prices increase for the first time in 6 months, whether this continues has still to be seen, but it’s a start. Cut Costs
So what else can we do to prepare? I advise all my clients to make a simple spreadsheet or table on a piece of paper outlining all monthly income and outgoings. Start with the high ticket items like mortgage / rent, cars, travel expenses, etc and work down to the smallest expenses. Now you have listed these expenditure items, investigate where you can cut costs item by item. (more…)
At the start of the new year my resolution was to keep all my valued clients up to date with economic matters in 2009. I genuinely want to ensure all my clients are as secure as we can be in light of the current global financial crisis and what I a Mortgage Broker predict to be another financially challenging year for us all.
