Mortgage Debt
At the start of the new year my resolution was to keep all my valued clients up to date with economic matters in 2009. I genuinely want to ensure all my clients are as secure as we can be in light of the current global financial crisis and what I a Mortgage Broker predict to be another financially challenging year for us all.
The Last Quarter
In my previous newsletter, I outlined the opportunity that many people have to wipe off some of their debts. In the first quarter of 2009, I am in the process of having over £400,000 of my clients debt cleared!!! If any of you want to find out more, please don’t hesitate to call. I also pointed to the increasing numbers of redundancies sweeping the country and the Accident, Sickness and Unemployment insurance you can use to protect your monthly outgoings in this scenario. The insurers were so concerned in February that they actually pulled these products off the market due to concern at the level of claims on these policies. Thankfully, due to pressure from my mortgage network, the insurers we use have re-instated these products at the end of March. I would ask everybody to seriously consider taking these products out while they are still available. They don’t cost much but could be invaluable, should the worst happen.
